Ward No 8
Brief Introduction
Bhaktapur municipality, which has a majority of farmers and former ward no. 2 now has turned into Ward no. 8 of Bhaktapur Municipality. Most of the permanent residents of this ward live in Jenla Tol. To the east of this ward is Ward no. 9 of Changunarayan municipality, to the west is Ward no. 7 and 9 of Bhaktapur Municipality, to the north is ward no. 9 of Bhaktapur municipality and to the south is ward no. 8 (Sipadol and Nankhel) of Suryavinayak municipality.
Within this boundary this ward covers a total area of 0.7615 sq. Km. According to the census of 2078 BS, the ward has 4,753 females and 4,950 males with a total population of 9,703.
